IL&FS Education wins Best Skill Provider Award at FICCI Global Skills Summit 2011
IL&FS Education has won the Best Private Sector "Bottom of Pyramid" Skill Providers Award at the 4th FICCI Global Skills Summit on 15, September 2011.
The Award was instituted by the UK-India Skills Forum (UKISF) to acknowledge the Indian companies/training providers who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the skills agenda in India - one of the most important challenges the country is facing today.
The award was conferred at the opening ceremony of the Summit by Mr.S.Ramdorai, Adviser to the Prime Minister National Skills Skill development Council to Dr. Raj Dravid – COO Skills, IL&FS and Mr. V. Padmanabhan, National Head, Skill Development, IL&FS.
This award is recognition of organisations that have supported the development of vocational and soft skills among the Indian citizens, both in cities and in rural areas, both basic and advanced levels of training.
